Learn about the power of water at the Information Centre in Gabčíkovo! Gabčíkovo is the youngest town on Rye Island, located 12 km from Dunajská Streda and 50 km from Bratislava. The information centre presents the water company and environmental issues in a playful way. It is an opportunity to learn about water and nature from an exceptional location, but also to learn about electricity generation from renewable sources. Visitors will find interactive panels that use the latest technologies such as holographic projection, 3D virtual tours, touch screens and digital games to show how the plant works. The interactive panels and films are available in four languages, Slovak, Hungarian, German and English. Organised tours can be booked by e-mail.
